What To Look For When Choosing A Resell Rights Product

Perhaps you've decided that selling resell products is the way to go. You might have even made some purchases already and found the products to be less than what you'd hoped for. Buying resell rights products certainly isn't hard, but there are a few things to consider in order to get the best quality for your money. Read on for some helpful hints.

Age

Is the product older than two years? Old products may contain out of date information. In some niches, especially technology - related niches, information moves rather quickly and can become stale in less than a year. If your niche is super time sensitive, keep your eye out for new resell products just hitting the market.

Market Saturation

Age usually factors into market saturation as well. Looking at how long the product has been on the market can give you a clue regarding saturation of the product. There can be lots of people who bought the resell rights to the product, but you are more concerned with how many people actively promote it. Google the product, do a keyword check, check Adwords etc to get a sense of the products presence in the market . If the product is a PLR product and you
don't recognise it in the market, then that means other owners have put work into changing the title, graphics, and content to make the product unique. You should do that as well and put your own spin on it.

Quality of Product

Take a look at the Sales page, does it convert or is it awful with bad grammar, typos, and no call to action? If you're not allowed to rewrite the sales page, you'd better pass. If the Sales page isn't up to much you're probably not going to make many sales.

Market Demand

Determine whether there is even a demand for a product like this. If it's a new product and doesn't have an established track record, search the keyword phrases and check the sponsored ads. It's a good sign when there are people paying money to promote a similar product.

License Terms

Study the license agreement carefully so you know exactly what you can and can't do with the product. If for example you want to be able to give it away free to your list but the TOS states it can only be sold, then this product won't work for you this time.
